Synopsis
Haruka Kasugano and his twin sister Sora have lost both their parents in an accident, and with them all their support. Ok I know that this anime is pretty old I mean it's aired in 2010 but the reason I want to give a review for this anime is because yosuga no sora is completly underrated, i mean I know for some people the idea of two siblings intimately love each other is weird or disturbing but who are we to judge right ? Love could exist in many form and circumstances. Well any way enough of the chit chat let's start the review shall we.
Warning : this review below May contains Spoilers proceed at your own risk.
Review :
Art and Animation: for the animation I'll give 8/10 because for an old anime the animation is pretty good and *cough* sexy *cough*
Hahaha you just couldn't say no to that "cute" face could you ?
The view and the angle from the animation really capture the special scene perfectly and art really is just stunning and fit the series hence forth I give 8/10 for the animation
Characther:
For me the characters in this anime is unique in its own way because every girls and including the protagonist have been through major development over the series at the start you'll see the heroines as another cliche harem character although the protagonist is a bit different because he's the " bishounen " type but at the end he is still undecisive and naïve
Anyway later on as we move on to each of the heroines route's the characters start to develop gradually such as sora at the first of her route she's just your typical Tsundere clingy sister but as we delve further in her story she's just simply "transform" into a more complex and likeable character with deep emotional conflicts
While the development for the protagonist haruka well since this anime is adapted from a Visual Novel so it's obvious that each girls gets a story the difference is the story is separated with each route so after one route is finished it will reset to the "save point" to get to another route so without saying all the protagonist development also get reseted
So with that in mind I'll give 8/10 for the
characters
Story :
As you know the anime is adapted from a visual novel by the same name and according to my experience of watching anime. Most anime that comes from visual novel usually only serves as promoting tools for the Visual novel and does not deliver the depthness of the visual novel it self, especially when the anime in question is only have 12/13 episodes. But regardless the lack of story and explaination it is still very enjoyable and the concept of "save point" is also very refreshing so I'll give 7/10 for the story
Sound and seiyuu ( VA ) :
It's really fit for the anime there's a bit of sadness in the BGM yet at the same time there's also a feint Ray of hope.
The Opening and ending it's pretty catchy and easy to listen also held a deep meaningful lyrics
The seiyuu ( voice actor/actress )
Taguchi hiroko is really nailed it as sora her voice is just...just so CUTE and VERY SEDUCTIVE as hell she really gets the essence of sora character
And shimono hiro also done a good joba as haruka as well as the other VA's henceforth I shal give this 9/10
Conclusion :
This anime really fascinated me, it holds deep meaning the anime shows real struggle it shows you how vulnerable you are when you are alone so for all child or teenager that thinks your better off without your parents think again because all the things you have now and take it all for granted it exist because your parents hard work that's morale one the second one is all love could exist in many forms, ways and circumstances so don't judge because when you love someone/something you shouldn't care about what anyone might think just think about what you want and care.
And that's all it's finish my review thanks for reading my review, and oh yeah I'm going to review yosuga no sora VN maybe next week or so but sora route only because the game is not fully translated yet well then kaito signed off.
